Have you been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and are you looking for someone to provide guidance? I’ll be able to help you out. I will compose a specific diet for you in which I exclude certain foods, namely foods that contain FODMAPs. Below, you can find more information.

In which types of food can FODMAPs be found?

Fermented foods

N/A

Oligosaccharides

Bread, pasta, legumes, cabbages, garlic, etc.

Disaccharides

Dairy products including milk, yogurt & cheese

Monosaccharides

Fruit including apples and pears, dried fruits, fruit juice, honey, etc.

And

N/A

Polyols

Peaches, cherries, mushrooms, artificial sweeteners (e.g., sugar-free chewing gum), etc.

Firstly, the process involves removing all the above foods from your diet. Afterwards, we’ll be reintroducing them step-by-step. Symptoms, including bloating or cramps, will be reduced significantly after a few weeks. In addition, you will learn to determine your personal tolerance limit.
